The Meagher County Conservation District serves local landowners and residents by promoting the conservation of soil, water, and other natural resources throughout Meagher County.
Established as part of Montana’s statewide network of Conservation Districts, we provide locally driven leadership and practical conservation solutions that reflect the needs of our community.
The District is governed by a board of elected volunteer supervisors who work alongside our District Administrator, landowners, agencies, and community partners to protect natural resources while supporting agriculture and private land stewardship.
The mission of the Meagher County Conservation District is to provide local, common-sense conservation leadership and resources to the residents of Meagher County.
